Atten-hut! Listen up you dog faces! It’s time for us to have a little talk about costumes, men’s army costumes. Am I making myself clear? I can’t hear you! Am I making myself clear? Okay, now that I have your attention, let’s discuss what you need to have a great costume for your upcoming costume event, no matter what it might be.
Men’s army costumes can be found in a very wide range of areas. For instance, you can buy them in a costume shop but that is not the only option you have by far. Whether you want a modern army costume, a newer look, a dress costume or a basic duty uniform, there are quite a few ways to find the right one for you no matter what you will be wearing it for.
In nearly every area, there is an army/navy surplus store that has components of each type of uniform that you might like to have. The prices are fairly reasonable and there are enough interesting things to make the trip there worthwhile. If you do not want to go to the surplus store, you can scour the local thrift stores for costumes- either the whole thing or separate parts. For instance, if you are a hard to fit size, you can buy the pants in one size and the top part in another. And then of course you have online costume shops with an abundance of men’s army costumes to choose from, whether modern army or basic uniforms.
Once you find the right costume, you can choose the accessories that you would like to have. There are many places for dog tags that can serve as a good starter, including bubble gum machines if you are really lucky. Other accessories that you can choose would be toy guns or other weapons, however make sure that they are not mistaken for the real thing or you could find yourself in major trouble.
No matter what men’s army costume that you choose, make sure that you are wearing the right footwear. Black boots are the best choice; however black shoes can also work for your costume as well.
