Holy Halloween! It’s Batman…Costumes
In the darkened streets of Gotham, a party is about to begin. The usual pirates and vampires are awkwardly greeting each other when a dark shadow appears at the door. A gasp from the crowd- is it a dangerous stranger? No, it is Batman, or at least this particular version of him. Buying a Batman costume requires a few considerations, including who can really pull off the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader and what you should expect from the costume itself.
Tips for buying the perfect Batman Costume online:
1. Know what you are intending when you say the word “Batman”.
There have been many different versions of the Caped Crusader after all, and each costume has some very subtle differences. The Adam West Batman version for instance has a bit more accessories that might seem a little cheesy to some. It is also very retro. The Dark Knight version is darker, sleeker and more form fitting. There is also a more Goth feel to this version making it appealing to those who might have been stuck in the vampire rut for too long but don’t really want to move completely away from it. Buyseasons has an awesome version of both the Dark Knight and the “muscle” Batman costume. (Not to mention names but one of the big screen portrayers of Batman had a suit that had built in muscles to hide his, well, lack of dedication to the gym.)
If you want retro, go with the Adam West Version. If you are looking for more edgy, sexy and Goth, the Dark Knight is the Batman for you. And if you are looking for a muscle bound look, then the Buyseason Muscle Batman costume is the best choice for you.

2. Know about fit and return policy.
Read the sizing chart carefully, especially when buying a costume online. You want the costume to fit correctly or it will look more like Fatman than anything else. Read any reviews that are available and see if anyone mentions size. If four of five of them say that the costume tends to run small, then buy a larger size. The return policy should be clearly stated- make sure that you can return a costume that does not fit or it is not really worth the risk.
3. Finally, make sure that you read what accessories are included with the costume before making your final selection. In general, the cape and cowl should be included with the costume itself, but that is not always the case, especially in some of the pricier costume choices. Compare what is and is not included in the price while you are shopping- why pay extra for the cape at one site if you get a fully functional utility belt plus the cape at another?
