Batman costumes come in varieties that match the various films- from the Old School look to the sleek and sinister Dark Knight version and everything in between, you have to have the Batman costume that will match your personality the best. If you are a little bit on the campy side, go for the original Batman, however if you are broody, moody and just a little edgy, go for a more modern look. If you think you are a little on the wimpy side, then look for the Batman costumes that have enhanced muscles in them (just like some of the actors who have played the role reportedly have done.)
Fit
No matter what style you select, make sure that your Batman costume fits you well. While mothers might want to buy their tiny bats a costume that is a little on the larger side, you have to make sure that it is not so large that you are in danger of showing off more than just the bat signal while out trick or treating. For the older bat, the costume has to fit well so that it is comfortable. You also do not want to run the risk of tearing your costume because it is too tight.
Quality
For the little bat, a plastic costume and plastic cape is perfectly fine, however, if you are an adult man running around a party with a less than well made costume you are just screaming the word “cheap”. While you don’t have to wear the best on the market, you should buy a batman costume that is a little better made so that you look like the Dark Knight and not a cheap fright.
