Alright boys, never let it be said that the Queen of Halloween doesn’t play fair: today it’s all about you and the best classic men’s Halloween costume ideas. You know there is really no need to wait around for the last minute and grab the first mask that you find- you can have a great costume and a really good time at your party or other event, and you do not have to break the bank to do it.

1. Vampire Costume

Before you even stick in those plastic fangs and don the black cape, let me make one thing perfectly clear to you, the reason the vampire will always be one of the best classic men’s Halloween costume ideas is simple: vampires typically have a suave, ultra-cool attitude and impeccable manners which makes them so irresistible. If you can pull that off, you will make a perfect vampire. If you want to save a little money on the look it is very simple to do. First, start with dressy black trousers, a white dress shirt and a nice black cape and you are set. Make sure that you practice an intense, menacing stare and try not to let your teeth pop out of your mouth when you threaten to suck someone’s blood. You are not trying to be Count Goofula after all.

2. Pirate Costume

So, if manners are really not your thing, you have other options to choose from. Pirates are rarely known for their table manners and decorum and if you would like to almost get away with calling your girlfriend your lusty wench, then this may be your only shot. You can opt for either a professionally designed costume or a more laid back one that you gather yourself, but again, attitude really makes the look. Accessories for the pirate costume can also really give you an advantage, however trying to cart around a parrot all night is a bit much. Stick with an eye patch, gold earring and maybe a sword.

3. Gorilla Costume

Of all of the classic men’s Halloween costume choices, this is  one that you might feel compelled to pull out all year round. A full gorilla costume can be fairly pricey but if you play your cards right could virtually pay for itself in no time at all. For instance, the Queen of Halloween could pay you to scare the bejeebers out of a friend of hers, or something. If you do not want the expense of the full costume, you could buy the mask, hands and feet and still be pretty frightening.

4. A Gangster Costume

Take a dapper suit add a pair of sunglasses, maybe a nice fedora and throw in a toy machine gun and you are a real gangster. If you can swagger like DeNiro and charm like Johnny Depp you will be a very popular gangster indeed.

5. Superman, Spiderman or Batman Costume

Ah yes, the super heroes, the stuff that little boy’s dreams are made of and the epitome of men’s classic Halloween costume ideas. Of the list, these are often the easiest to find, the easiest to choose from (everyone has their favorite) and the easiest persona to slip into. It is often the reason that many a Halloween party will be populated with multiple versions of each, all vying to be the best super hero that they can be.

There you have it, boys. Five classic men’s Halloween costume ideas. Pick the one that matches your personality and make sure that you have a good time. Now, where is that gorilla, I have a little list I need to show him!
