Adult Halloween Costumes of the Military Persuasion
GI Joe Costume has made its splash on the big screen so there is no doubt that it will be influencing Halloween costumes for the young and the young at heart. Military costumes for both guys and gals are not only a great costume option, they can be excellent to enhance or fake a take charge attitude.
For the men, the costumes are pretty basic- and if you have them, you could even wear your own with a few embellishments. If you would prefer not to do that, then there are some really great choices for you.
1. High ranking officer uniforms. Even if you never served in the military, the thought of starting at the bottom is not usually what people want. Make sure you have tons of medals and the right take charge attitude and you have it made. Sir.
2. Sexy muscle uniforms. Alright fellows, if you have not been hitting the gym like you should, you could fake the look with a muscle-look torso. Just make sure it does not pop out at people at the wrong time.
For the women:
1. Ahoy, Sailor Girls. There are two varieties of the sailor costume that you could choose for Halloween: the short and sweet and the even shorter and sexy sailor girl looks. Both types feature cute tops and short skirts. The really good choices also have really cute accessories like hats and medals to make your “uniform” even more spectacular.
2. You are in the Army now. Wearing an army costume may sound boring, but not if they are ultra cute, fit your backside perfectly. Again, accessories may be the bonus here: dog tags and cute hats.
3. Marine corps. Dark blue, perfectly cut pants, who could ask for a more flattering costume? Look for great details like gold buttons that draw attention to your chest.
4. The Officer look. There is something about a sexy woman that oozes confidence and has a chest full of medals that makes people go a little nutty. Make sure that you feel the part as well as look it. See how many people are calling you ma’am by the end of the night. If it is less than two, you were not doing it right!
Regardless of which type of costume you are planning to wear, make sure that you have the right shoes/boots to wear with it. Nothing willl ruin a look faster than the absolue wrong shoe choice. Alright ladies, we are going shoe shopping!
